Meet Rev. Dr. N. Scott Cupp

Rev. Dr. N.  Scott Cupp (Scott to friends and associates) will be preaching on four of the Sundays this spring spread across April to June. 

Scott retired this year after serving as Interim Pastor/Designated Pastor/Pastor for a church in NJ. 

A native New Yorker, he grew up in Williamson (outside of Rochester) went to School in Canton and then Denver, Louisville and Chicago.  He received his Doctorate, from McCormick Seminary, in Congregational Transformation. 

Scott had been pastor of three churches.  His first church was in a suburb of Youngstown, OH and then in Nashville, TN, and then in suburban Philadelphia.  He served the Synod of the NE as Associate for Church Development.  After leaving the Synod he served as an Interim Pastor in Howlett Hill, Rochester and Seneca Falls.   

He has been married to his wife Tonia for 36 years.  They have three children – Matthew, Nicholas, and Cassandra.  They live in Manlius along with two cats.
