A Church for All People

About Us

Although we are not worshiping together in the church building at this time, maintaining the identity, connection, and unique voice of our congregation is very important. You can find our Sunday services on our Facebook page or on our YouTube channel at:

Founded in 1801, Marcellus First Presbyterian Church is the oldest church in Marcellus.  We are situated at the crossroads of the village on the corner of North and Main Streets.

We are a welcoming church with exciting worship services, an outstanding music program and activities for people of all ages.  We are delighted you have found our website and hope you will follow up by coming to church and getting to know us.

Worship services begin at 10AM Sunday mornings.  The younger children are welcome to leave after the children’s message and go to the nursery or Christian Education classes.  The older youth are encouraged to stay for the sermon before going downstairs for classes and a time of fellowship.

We worship ecumenically with the Marcellus United Methodist Church during the months of July and August.  July services are held in the Methodist church with our pastor preaching and August services are here with the Methodist pastor preaching.  Summer services begin at 9:30AM.

Our annual Christmas Eve service begins at 7pm and brings family and friends together to hear the Christmas Story and enjoy the Christmas carols.

Mission outreach has always been an integral part of our history and continues today.  See the Missions page (under PROGRAMS) to learn more about our current outreach to our community and beyond.  We also support the Presbyterian Church (USA) hunger and disaster relief programs in times of global need. When natural or human-caused disasters impact communities, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is poised to respond and work closely with congregations and local mission partners to bring Christ’s love and healing.  The Presbyterian Hunger program works in the US and around the world to help alleviate hunger and poverty and its root causes.

  • We have classes and activities for all ages, including:
